Fractional ownership is a structure in which two or more unrelated parties share ownership of a high-value asset, such as real estate, a jet, or a yacht, by dividing it into fractions or shares. Each party owns a percentage of the asset, allowing them to split both the costs and the benefits, such as usage rights and potential income, in proportion to their ownership stake. This model is particularly common for assets that are too expensive or impractical for one individual to own outright.
